A young man, involved in a senior prank at his high school in San Ysidro has most likely lost his appointment to the USAFA after detonating plastic bottle bombs at his high school.

Just remember that there will be consequences for your actions!! This will hold true your entire life.

I saw this a few days ago and searched out what further I could find out. According to the USAFA, this student was never given an appointment. Which makes it an even MORE interesting story...Wonder what this guy was up to.

My son pulled off a great senior prank last week, but he thought about the prank from all angles and there was no way for it to be a possible negative to his appointment. It was just funny and spirited. As for this guy..he might be smart, but smart doesn't do you one bit of good without judgement!

Well atleast someone more deserving is taking his place, and i bet they're going to be thrilled to receive an appointment in june

it's amazing how the school was able to think he was accepted when he wasnt
does this mean anyone can go to their counselor and say "hey i got accepted to Harvard" and they'll believe them?
it's sad.
however i do know this kid who claimed he got into the Air Force Academy Prep School and didnt really. He also had said that in like December when they aren't done giving out appointments

I was involved in some fairly large scale (only in the scope of the number of teachers we got) pranking for our last day of school. Absolutely none of it however was malicious or harmful in any manner.

One teacher always refers to his room as "noteland"... so we put probably over 3000 post-its in his room, all over his boards, on the floor, stacked the desks... whatnot.

We foiled the retiring chem teacher's room with a note "we love you times the number of moles Al in the foil we used!" We used like 13 boxes of foil.

Paper clips making an entire spiderweb across the room of a teacher who hates paper clip chains.

Re-arranged the room of an extreme "type A" teacher, we thought he was about to have a meltdown when he saw all of his desks not in perfect order and EVERY poster/wall hanging in his room upside-down.

Put skittles all over in the room of a teacher who is scarily obsessed with M&Ms.

stuff like that. The only thing we could have really gotten in trouble for was that some of the kids put the desks of one room out on the roof in the shape of "09", the janitors were fine with it for a while, but we put them back in by the end of the night. We did have some students try to get in on the pranking with less than honorable intentions, but with help from the janitors, no harm was done.

Our senior class got together and had our pranks sanctioned by the principal.

1) Trashed juniors lockers (they're "initiation") with whipped cream, toilet paper, balloons
2) Wore "black-out" shirts and ignored underclassmen
3) Trashed freshmen lockers (had stuff left over after we finished the juniors off)
4) Took all the toilet paper from the bathrooms except the ones in the senior hallway
5) Parked diagonally in the student parking taking up 6 spots each, blocked all entrances and only allowed seniors to park there while underclassmen parked across the street.
6) Used window paint to write all over the underclassmens cars

Good times...

Does anyone know what the deal is with the academy? Did he lie to everyone and say he was offered admission? This is very interesting...

When using only two chickens, the proper procedure is to tie a label that says "Chicken #1" around the neck of the first one, and one around the second one that says "Chicken #3."

The fun starts after they catch them both and spend the rest of the day looking for Chicken #2.

our school did that a few years back :p

A couple of kids filled our English room with balloons on Monday, with permission from the principal, because on Friday my teacher popped a balloon they were playing with and they threatened to fill the room with balloons, she should have listened :p

yesterday different seniors zip tied underclassmen lockers shut. they got caught and the zip ties were gone by the time the underclassmen got into school. They were going to get in trouble but a teacher let them in the school early and said they could do the prank. The teacher is in a lot of trouble, but the kids got off free
