How am I as a candidate?

Hello everyone,

I am applying for the class of 2022. I have submitted my application and I have a nomination. My unweighted gpa is a 3.3, weighted about a 4.0. my sat verbal is 33 and math is 27. Im just curious to those who have been accepted, how do my scores/gpa compare to yours? thanks!

I think you have a good shot though, but you're better at english than math. Everything we do is related to math, and nobody cares about humanities.

You don’t mention your CFA scores, athletics, or leadership roles. Admission is based on many factors, not just gpa and test scores. I can’t comment on the SAT scores since DS took the ACT, but his gpa is similar to yours.

Sit ups:76
Push ups:62
Mile: 7:15

Athletics: Two years football, one year lacrosse, one year shotput
Leadership: Church counselor for five years, busboy for two years, summer camp counselor for one year, worked on a golf course for a summer, two years in sailing school

Possible but try to get the SAT math up in particular, esp if you're applying form a very competitive state ... e.g., CA, NY, MA etc.

Are those ACT scores?

My high school GPA was a 3.0 out of 4.0, and I was in one AP Class the rest were college prep and accelerated. My ACT before I attended NMMI was a 23 in english and 27 in math 21 in science and 23 in reading. and My GPA at NMMI was a 3.15. My ACT scores at NMMI were a 25 in Engish, 24 in Reading, 23 in science, and 27 in Math. I also live in one of those competitive states listed in the aforementioned comment. I received an appointment in early May last year. I am currently doing well in my third trimester at USMMA.

My academic stats were very sub par to my classmates and to USMMA's average appointed academic stats. Therefore, I believe as long as you are above the minimums anything is possible. Just be the best candidate you can be!
