Hello community,

I have recently been selected to attend all three summer seminars at USNA, USAFA, and USMA. Over the course of the past couple of days, I was accepted to attend SLE session 1 and chose Session A for USAFA. Earlier in February, I was selected to attend Session 1 for NASS. Furthermore, I am challenged by the fact that SLE and NASS will be held the same week. Granted that I was accepted to NASS first, should I decline my SLE offer or should I call the admissions office at USNA to try and switch to Session 3?

Thank you for all of the support over the past couple of months! Still waiting to hear back regarding my status for AIM!

You can request a switch. Session 1 tends to be the easiest one to switch to as some schools aren’t out yet. In case you can’t switch you need to really focus on which SA and service interests you the most and start prioritizing.

No she didn’t. She’s waiting to hear back from AIM. From what we know AIM offered the most demanding experience in the summer. So I assume CGA doesn’t scale back much from the real deal. If you can and can afford it go to all programs. But don’t do it at the expense of Girl State. You must go to Girl State if Accepted. That one counts!

This is my understanding from DS and his buddies. AIM is the REAL DEAL - a realistic taste of SWAB summer.
