Hi everyone I recived a conditional appointment into CGAS, I have already looked on the website for information but I was wondering if any of you have any first hand information or advice to give, thank you!

Congratulations my DS is finishing up his Scholars year at NAPS. It's a wonderful way to go. In hindsight the best thing for my DS. When you are given the Scholars option at first and don't know much about it I know we had all kinds of questions that circle around why. You may hear of it as being given a "golden ticket" I have just referred to it as he's in the "five year program". My DS prep year has been tough, but rewarding. He just told me that he's so happy he was sent to prep. He has gained so my knowledge and maturity this last year that will be so benifical for him this swab summer. If you have any specific questions please let me know.

My DS is finishing up a year at MMI. He too had a conditional CGAS appointment before he received his waiver. The year has been very good for him and he’s flourishing at MMI. They have very good instructors: algebra, physics, chemistry and English are the main courses. He’s enjoyed becoming scuba certified in their scuba club and you can’t beat getting paid to go to school! If you have any questions feel free to ask.

My DS has just recently started his year at MMI and is loving it so far as well. He too, has joined the club to become scuba certified. All around a great deal for him so far.
