I am confused. I was given a Type 7 Non Teachnical AFROTC Scholarship several months ago, and I assumed that a DODMERB Waiver would be automatically asked. However, my status says Waiver Denied, yet I was never asked to provide new information for my waiver. Or does this mean that they have denied me a waiver. All my DQs are for hearing loss (but is not really much a problem as I can still hear pretty well) and for history of urinary problems (due to me having exercised a day before my urinalysis). I tjith these DQs are waiverable, and I just need to explain them. What do I do next?

If I am reading this correctly they did indeed request a waiver, but HQ AFROTC denied the waiver. They don't have to request for you to provide additional information they can just send it up and look at the current medical record that you submitted when you took your DoDMERB exam.
Hearing pretty well is not the same as being in within their limitations. They have to look at you from a long term aspect, at least 9 years (4 in college plus the 4 AD and than add in the time you wait before you go ADAF). Hearing is something that does not get better with time. It is not uncommon for those that work around aircraft for their hearing to decrease to the point that many fliers and maintainers will be given disability for hearing loss by the time they retire, and these were members that had perfect hearing when they entered. Thus, for the AF they may say no waiver.
I would suggest you contact HQAFROTC to see exactly what has occurred. You may want to look into a DoDMERB consultant to see if they can assist you in any manner.

Did you receive a conditional appointment to the Coast Guard Academy? All appointments to the CGA were completed April 1.
I'm currently on the wait list, hoping that I could still possibly get in.
Have you received notification that the CGA is processing you for a waiver? Should say so on DODMERB if it has been submitted to them for waiver consideration. Waiver authority for CGA is different than AFROTC so won't necessarily be the same answer. If you haven't already, you should submit any supplemental medical information you have.
At this point you should probably reach out to your AO and ask for guidance. The regular deadline for getting a waiver is May 15. Not sure if it is extended for waitlisted kids who come off waitlist.
Did you get a waiver for hearing from CGA? My DS is in the situation and curious to know if CGA grants waiver for hearing. I believe he has one number above 35db and passed on the average.
Earlier this year the DOD published new medical standards. I'm not sure how often this happened but my DS got caught in a loop where he had previously qualified for hearing on the old standards but not the new ones. We took him to an audiologist to have our own hearing test and his hearing was "excellent" according to the examiner. He had the DOD standards at the appt so he knew immediately if he met them. We submitted the data to DODMERB but the waiver was approved before they rec'd our information.
It might be worth it to pay for a professional hearing test at an ENT office. The testing conditions in physician offices are not always to standard so he may very well test better in a controlled environment.
