So medical deadline is April 15th which is this Sunday. Is this deadline very strict because that’s on a Sunday, or will the medical staff and admissions board be working over the weekend? I ask because they just received new information from me today about my case

From what I understand, your application will be automatically dropped if not medically qualified or disqualified by April 15th. Sorry.

So I'm getting conflicting information here. My Regional Commander said that if I hadn't responded to the remedial by the 15th I'm out. But if I had submitted everything they asked for, I will still be considered.

I verified with the medical review board today. I am now confident in my answer. If all remedial information was submitted then you are still being considered. If you haven't provided a response to this then it is over for this year.

As of today's most recent portal check, I am still not medically qualified, but turned in all my info for the waiver request before April 15th. Will it actually take up to 90 days for a waiver to be processed (like my waiver request file stated in my portal)? At this point, 90 days from now is well after R-Day...

No, my regional commander explained that the review board will answer well before 90 days. You should expect an answer before the end of the month.

I'm in the same position. Got a conditional appointment and sent in remedial exam documents that were processed by DoDMERB on April 6th. Just waiting to hear back from the Waiver Authority to hopefully grant the waiver

I got the TWE update on my portal on the 24th. Despite that sad news, Army ROTC cleared me medically the same day! RC for USMA said you had to have been cleared medically by April 15th. I was both academically and physically qualified. It was a good run, though! Plan B is all in place!

The problem is my RC said I'm definitely still in the running. Do you think I just haven't been notified of a decision or he would just rather wait for official correspondence to break the news to me? He has emailed me and verbally told me that I have not been told no yet.

Did you ever hear anything?

I talked to him today. I'm his top spot if anyone gives up their slot. But other than that no. Basically if I had been 3 Q'd I'd have been in, but requesting a waiver took way too long.

Well... RC informed me now I need to wait for someone to get hurt. He was very sorry about the fact that the waiver wait is why I wasn't attending, but there is hope. I'm already a junior in ROTC so I should just be happy with that.
