My son is suffocating from the bubble wrap! 7 days and counting until R-day. I have worried more about his safety this week than ever before. I think that it is because if he does hurt himself there is no time to recover. Anyone else experiencing this

Not really. I've never broken a bone or sprained anything in my whole life so my parents haven't really worried. Things have a habbit of happening when you worry too much. Then again, I'm not really doing anything dangerous on a daily basis.

Knock on wood...

I agree. I am driving my son crazy, and my muscles are so tight, I am afraid of what my body will feel like when they all start to loosen up finally. I keep trying to just look the other way, while I am counting down the days. :frown:

You are so not alone! My son has been driving us nuts with his new hobbies....all of which are normal and fun teenage things to do, so we are trying really, really hard to just zip our mouths shut. It has been a battle each day, and depending on the day or mood, we have varying degrees of success. Waiting for him to come home right now from boating....at night. Ugggh. The group he is with is safe and sober, but geez....night boating?
Praying for all of us who wait for "the day" to arrive, with our kids safe and sound and ready to report. And for our sanity too...
