Remedial Requested

Status says remedial requested. Is this something they send via mail. I assume its medical records they are looking for. Anyway to be proactive prior to waiting. Can you contact someone in advance to see what they are looking for. If medical records do they get them or do I get and send?
 
It took about a week after my son's said "remedial requested" until we had the code for what they wanted. Often its records, in our case it was to go get an additional exam. If they want records, you would get them and send them.
 
No, after his exam his status went to remedial requested, after he went and had the requested test done, it took about another week and he was qualified. If you still havent gotten your remedial code/s, email you technician they may be able to give you info.
 
We got a DQ. First it said remedial requested then it went to Does Not Meet Medical Requirements. I hope they will ask for records.
 
They will not ask for records if DQed. The next step is to request a waiver. If the applicant is HS scholarship winner, the waiver review is automatic. Make sure you submit any relevant records/documents that you want to be used for the waiver determination. If you are already a cadet, then your program will have to request the waiver.

Don't assume they will. Talk to them about submitting you for a waiver. I am not sure about NROTC, but in AROTC the cadet has to sign the waiver request.
