Is there any mids/ parents of mids that know how band works at USNA(mostly orchestra) I’m a tenor sax and Bass Clarinet(All-State) so D&B is out.

If you are thinking about applying to USNA, my standard advice, if you have not already done so, read every page, drop down and link at USNA.edu
Most answers are there.

As with most programs/ECAs at USNA, there will be briefings and try-outs.

There are all kinds of YouTube USNA videos. Just plug in the name of the ensemble.

And, enjoy this - I never mind an excuse to post it. Mids making music!

As a Freshman in h.s. (based on your prior posts), it is probably a bit early in the process to focus on USNA musical groups. Even during the balance of your time in h.s., your interests in various ECA's may change.
