Trouble on "Athletics" & ACT Portion of Online Application (2023)

Hello,

I've been trying to fill out the remainder of the USMMA application for a few days now, and I'm having some issues.

Every time I try to input my ACT scores into the two sections they provide, it allows me to do so, but as soon as I hit "save" and come back to the page they disappear. I have the rest of the page, including my SAT information, filled out. I tried leaving the SAT blank and just putting in the ACT, but it did the same thing.

Also, in the activities portion, whenever I put my athletic information in, it logs me out or refreshes the page after a few minutes and does not save. It's odd because it saved all of my extracurriculars fine.

I've tried using Chrome and Safari on two different computers, and experienced the same problems each time. Has anyone else experienced this, or know the solution? I figured that I would ask here before I went directly to admissions.

This happened to me literally yesterday. It was so frustrating. As far as the activities portion, I just kept trying and trying then all of a sudden it worked. I’m sorry I don’t have the solution, but my recommendation is to keep persevering. I think it finally worked on chrome for me.

What were you ACT scores? Maybe if they are too low the system will automatically deny it. Just a thought.

Glad to hear that it worked for you. I guess I'll try again, maybe use Internet Explorer on a PC or something. It only asked for English and Math, which I have 35 and 30 respectively--certainly hope that's not too low!
 
IE generally works best on some web sites. People do more testing with that browser than with others that have a smaller market penetration. When having problems I always recommend trying another browser and IE is generally the safest with respect to most web sites. YMMV.
 
DS had similar issues. He checked the box that he had vision better than 20/400, but it reverted to no and the same for if his vision was correctable. He also had multiple issues with the login regardless of the browser and security settings. Given the amount of issues reported here, it appears that maybe all of the bugs have yet to be worked out on the online application?
However, in defense of the USMMA Admissions Office, they were extremely helpful via email on both issues and revised the incorrect entries on his application.
 
Do not hesitate to contact Admissions with application issues. They are always extremely helpful! When my kids were applying, they got frustrated at times, but when they contacted Admissions, they were always glad they did (and wished they had done it sooner).
 
DS will be home this weekend. A week at CGA AIM and now Marine Summer Leader. look like he need to make a call to admission. How far anyone to their application? DS can’t proceed only have resume and essays to the required documents.

Did you call admission and got this resolved? My DS will call next week.
 
My DS also couldn't save his ACT scores, so he e-mailed Admissions and they told him as long as he sends his ACT scores electronically, they will get them and record them.
 
My DS called 3x if not more. Got recording once and no answered so far. Can not proceed to the application. Will call again on Monday. Is it ok to call on Saturday or only during the week? It’s challenge to call now since school
Started and football practice from 4-6:30pm.
 
No one is in Admissions on the weekends this time of year. We had better success by emailing the admissions representativecassigned to our region.
