I have searched here and other places and can't seem to find out if there is a rest time between pushups, situps and mile run or do they run one right into the next. Can someone with experience advise? Thanks.

I could not find a rest period standard for the PFA (1-1-1) either.

However this is listed for the APFT (2-2-2):
The APFT consists of push-ups, sit-ups, and a 2-mile run—done in that order—on the same day. Soldiers are allowed a minimum of 10 minutes and a maximum of 20 minutes rest between events. All three events must be completed within two hours. The test period is defined as the period of time that elapses from the start to the finish of the three events (from the first push-up performed to the last Soldier crossing the finish line of the 2-mile run event).

Have never seen a rest time for PFT either. I would say a reasonable time would be 4-5 minutes if you need it. The PFT is not something an applicant should be losing a lot of sleep over, unless they are woefully out of shape.

I wish I could have 20 minutes recovery between each event back when I was taking the APFT! LOL
