The photos they selected don't really show us much of how the change affects the overall look. They need side and back shots of the hair to illustrate what is acceptable or not, in my opinion.

DD wore a bun for ten years (second year at USNA and seven years active Marine Officer). I don't think that is a new one.
 
Google “images new Navy women’s hair regulations.” That will bring up the latest link and example pics. My iPhone copy and paste is misbehaving today.

Thanks. I had missed that step! I just clicked on them and could see the full images. Those are great examples to show what is acceptable or not.
