Couple sneak horn shark out of Aquarium

I saw the video on the news. Just when I think I've seen it all.
 
I guess the guy had quite a set up and collection of marine life in his garage, he actually had one of this same shark before but it had apparently died so I guess he thought this was a smart way to replace it. What I don't get is why they dumped bleach into the aquarium's filtration system which had it not been dealt with quickly would have killed a lot of marine life.
