How many years will it take to complete the USMMA?

4 academic years plus 1 sea year ?

If you enter in Fall 2018 is graduation Spring 2023? If you end up at NMMI, MMI, or NAPS then would graduation be Spring 2024?

How does USMC PLC or Camp Leatherneck play into this timeline? What year would a USMMA midshipman attend Leatherneck?

USMMA is 4 years. In the program you take nearly the equivalent of hours for a masters degree in 3 years which allows the sea year trimester to be completed in a 4 year timeframe.

Since there is no credit given for any college credits taken prior to KP, everyone starts at the same place. Setbacks can add to the time frame to graduate. Because it is on the trimester system, getting set back medically or academically generally means you enter the following year in the trimester you left and join that class. Those plebes entering in June 2018 are graduating, if no setbacks occur, in June 2022. 4 years.

Camp Leatherneck is done during the brief time (around 3 weeks) between third trimester and the start of the new academic year. It does not change anything. I know that Mids have attended Camp Leatherneck following their 3rd class (sophomore) year but I believe you may also go after your 2nd class (Junior) year. It is up to the Midshipman to make it happen.

There is no CAMP leatherneck. It is just leatherneck. Leatherneck is not summer camp, it is a Marine Corps officer selection/assessment program. Successful candidates get a recommendation for a commission in the USMC. Out of many, I know only a couple of USMMA mids have gotten the highest recommendation level. You can go to leatherneck any time after your 3rd class year.
