Minor mishap in my application... I met with my counselor to review my candidate activities submission that she has to verify (she can see everything I submitted for that) and of course I had a stupid typo I missed... There is an option for her to make them send me a new one to submit, but I believe that is only for people who lied on theirs and that could come off as I lied on mine at first. I could email my admissions counselor as I have a few times to get help and he is great. Unfortunately they can’t unlock it for me, but they can add stuff for me as I had him add a few things that came up after I submitted it. What should I do? My guidance counselor also has a remarks section where she included a lovely letter of recommendation, but I don’t know what would be best for me. Thank goodness I had 6 people review my personal statement before submitting that, but I clearly did a terrible job on my activities sheet. Live and learn ig. Also is it allowed to mail a resume to admissions office to include as part of my application? Personally their activities menu was pretty limiting and I feel a resume would help admissions get a better picture of my experience and accomplishments. Thanks!

As long as the typo is still understandable - I would let it ride.

If I left out some things by accident, but my counselor included them in my LOR and the Remarks section, will I still be getting points for them or not?

It is definitely readable, just looks bad. It says instead of “Although” it says “ALthough”

This mole hill is not a mountain. Don't worry about it.

What are these omitted things? That you were the Captain of the Football Team? Eagle Scout? That would matter, certainly.
If your Counselor remembered that you got a perfect attendance award (which you forgot) I wouldn't worry about that either.

Hope this helps!

Move on...seriously, highly unlikely anyone would ever catch the Although v. ALthough, and even more unlikely that any one gives it any thought. If you are missing something material ... send Admissions Office an email and they can add. If it was something minor, like that Perfect Attendance award, don't worry about .
