Evaluator Interview: Will I only be able to schedule once everything else is done?

Today I got this update on my portal. Let me just say I have read through many threads about this topic on this forum, but still, my questions remain.

In order to be considered for an appointment, you must complete the following forms by November 14, 2018. 1. USAFA Form 146 - Air Force Academy Candidate Personal Data Record 2. USAFA Form 147 - Air Force Academy Candidate Activities Record 3. USAFA Form 0-158 - USAF Academy Candidate Fitness Assessment 4. AF Form 2030 - USAF Drug and Alcohol Abuse Statement 5. USAFA Form 0-501 - Drug and Alcohol Use Circumstances (only if required) 6. USAFA Form O-878 - USAF Academy Candidate Writing Sample

You will find these forms at the bottom of your status page. If you fail to complete all these forms by the deadline above your candidate kit will be locked and you will not be considered for admission to USAFA. Additionally, ensure you have completed (or at least scheduled) your DoDMERB medical and have contacted your Admissions Liaison Officer. Please note that your Admissions Liaison Officer is not required to schedule your interview until you accomplish the items above.

So, the only thing that I am missing is my CFA scores, which I am planning to take and get in next Friday, November 9th. Does this letter mean that once I have sent in the CFA scores, I will be able to see who my evaluator is, and then contact them? Currently, I have an ALO listed on my portal, but that is not the same person as my evaluator. I am particularly concerned because it sounds like some people were able to schedule their interview BEFORE all their forms got it, and that they knew who to contact about it BEFORE their forms got it.
 
For reference, this is what the instructions to candidates booklet says about the scheduling.

Once you have completed all of your required forms your assigned Evaluator will contact you within two weeks to coordinate and schedule your personal interview/evaluation. The name and contact information for your Evaluator can be found in your portal in the “Evaluator” block

Within 2 weeks makes it sound like I might not be able to get it scheduled by my deadline..
 
I will reply to our situation. DD is currently interviewing via Skype. (Yes,right this minute- I am outside of the house keeping her dog entertained). She was contacted via email by her inerviewer . She has not completed her CFA and 1 teacher has yet to complete evaluation.
Evaluator said in email. I see you are nearly finished with all parts of evaluation can we schedule interview. That has been our wxperience. Her rolling due date is Nov 19th. Hope this helps

This is exactly what happened to DS. He did his interview yesterday. His CFA scores had not been submitted and one teacher hasn’t done the evaluation. Evaluator emailed and asked to schedule it last week. His rolling date is Nov 9th.

Thanks for your information. I guess that I will just have to wait and see if I hear from the evaluator.

Thanks for your reply. Should I be concerned that I haven't been contacted yet/ should I email my admissions counselor about it? I guess I will wait another week, and if I have not heard anything, then I will reach out to the admissions counselor.
 
They are not required to schedule it until the paperwork is in, so wait patiently until some reasonable amount of time after that. BTW, not having the interview will not keep you from getting an appointment. The interview is not absolutely required for that, as I understand from past years.

Read your portal carefully. Your evaluation does not need to be complete by your deadline. You don't have control over this. Refer to page 3 of your "Instructions to Candidates"

Read your portal carefully. Your evaluation does not need to be complete by your deadline. You don't have control over this. Refer to page 3 of your "Instructions to Candidates"

Yep, I am aware. The portal says to make sure you have at least scheduled the interview by the deadline, so that is where my initial concern came from. Thanks!
 
My application deadline was November 1st. I've tried to initiate contact with my evaluator, but she hasn't emailed me back. Hopefully, she will get back to me soon or email me separately. Similar situation.

I hope things work out for you!
 
DS has completed his application (CFA last item 11/8), and his evaluator name popped up in his portal. She hasn't contacted him as of today, and he just tried to email her, but the address (linked through USAFA) was no good, as it was bounced back to him. ???
