CONGRATULATIONS! And good luck with admission to the university as well. DS is a 3/C there and loves it.U of Michigan.
Our son also received word re: NROTC scholarship today for Notre Dame. Anyone know if having the scholarship helps one get admitted? He's a ND NROTC legacy and has a sister doing AROTC there, but just curious if anyone has experience. Thanks.
Probably not. There are separate boards for Marine Options, and just two of them. The first should be happening about now and the second should be in Feb or early March. If any of them are Marine Options then it's a record setting board in terms of the turn-around time from selection to notification. Are any of them Marine Option?

if a sister is currently doing AROTC @ND, you/she should know better than anyone here in the forum.

I wish that were the case. She applied for and received her AROTC scholarship very late -- after being accepted to ND.
