There are SO MANY threads on this subject. I've searched but am striking out with an answer to my question. My son has completed applications with USNA and USMMA. He sent in his Nomination applications to both Senators and our Congressman listing USNA as 1st choice and USMMA as 2nd. He received an interview from all 3 but the 2 Senators specifically stated that they were interviewing him for USMMA ONLY. The Congressman did not specify so I'm guessing his panel consisted of all Service Academy reps? Regardless, my son received a Nomination from one of the Senators for USMMA, not the other (maybe they coordinate). He has yet to hear from the Congressman. I would assume he will hear something. Our Congressman won his district so is still in office. So my question is: Is there still a possibility that my son could get a USNA Nomination from our Congressman? This entire process is a bit confusing. And since I just recently joined this forum, I am really struggling with all the acronyms (besides the obvious ones) - so please try to educate me on those ))
