USAFA Prep School Class of 2019 Appointment Thread

Is this thread for USAFA Prep only or does it include Falcon Scholars??
This is for USAFA Prep. There may be a thread for Falcon scholars. I think I remember seeing one?
What is the forwarding address for those going to the Prep School. Is it the same as the one for Academy Cadets?
Can someone clarify this for me. Also I am talking about mail just incase there was confusion. My current base is asking me to give them one before I can out-process.

Hey, guys! Anyone listed above (Prep class of 2019) still on this forum? It's ALMOST HALF OVER! Can't wait for our Preppie to come home for Christmas!
I am! I am actually headed to CO to see mine this Friday! He is competing in his first track meet. My mom heart couldn't stand not being there, so my hubby gave me an early Christmas present. Yay! Bundle up, looks chilly! Yes, there have been many ups and downs. Heartbreaking for the Tice family. Our son is in Charlie. I was on here looking for updates about noms (we hope to hear something over Christmas break), remembering how stressful the application process was this time last year. Counting down the days till he comes home next weekend!
Did you get the 411 on classes they can take next semester that are up on the hill, or at least count next year? Physics, and..?
Any idea for Christmas presents?

I know I can't take my flip flops and shorts! I don't even own a coat! LOL headed out to secure on, but in San Diego it may be like finding that proverbial needle in a haystack I have not heard anything about what they can take next semester! Mine just says, I don't get a choice. My heart is so broken for the Tice Family I cannot even imagine what they are going through, it's devastating. Im trying to decide what to do for Xmas as well.. Ugh they can't have much and all my good ideas I bought last year before his Prep year ha ha. I come on here about NOMS too, sadly our MOC didn't give any from Prep the time of day. They told them you will get your NOM from the Prep School. So Fingers crossed.

@charlestonmom5 Congratulations!! DS just got his Thanks but no thanks letter yesterday in the mail. I am not telling him with finals this week and I hope he doesn't check his mail this week before break. No need for the extra disappointment this week just focus on studying for finals! I'll let him read it when he is home. I was extremely disappointed in our panel this year, it seems the phone interviews were short and the kids at Prep were not really given any consideration in the process this year. My DS said when it was his opportunity to speak they cut him off and said Thank you XXX even though we gave you a NOM last year you are not competitive enough this year and hung up. I told him.. keep your chin up. Press on, they are NOT your final decision at moving on up to the Hill. Keep your grades up & stay out of trouble and continue to impress with your character and leadership at the P and you will earn your appointment next year!
