Any news on how field day went? Such as which squad won?
 
I was there and the Demons won overall (I think the Hellcats were a close second). It was pretty cool, the basics beat the cadre in the sprint relay (and the officers in tug of war).
 
Demons won fairly convincingly. Cobras were next, with Jaguars and Hellcats not far behind. The cadre dropped the baton in the relay, and the officers actually won, but had more people than the hellcats tug-of-war team.

so basically DEMONS DOMINATED!

It was really close even before they dropped the baton. Demons Dominated everything except tug-of-war and I think the Hellcats had a bunch of Football recruits on their team (or very big guys).
 
our females lost in the finals, and our males lost the semi-finals to Cobras who we had beat in the first round. ironically the females lost the championship to Cobras who they had also beat in the first round
 
Was the sprint relay the only event that the cadre participated in, or did they do any other events (log relay, distance run, etc.)?
 
sprint relay only. no points, just one basic from each squadron against the cadre

Just got off the phone with my son. He said the Hellcats won both the sprint relay and tug of war.

Demons won three overall events and my son was on the winning Log Run Relay team! :thumb:
 
My son said he was on the Log Run Relay (for demons) as well.
