LOA received today

My DS received his LOA today and has two nominations prior to Christmas break. After two years of reading posts and having visited the Naval Academy we are excited and proud beyond words. To see our son have such an amazing opportunity is incredible. Best of luck to everyone in the Class of 2023 and thank you for the support and wisdom we have gained through this forum.

Maw1133 congrats to your son !! If I might ask. Recruited athlete ? Just trying to figure out their method of LOAs .....

Thank you! DS received his DODmerb clearance two weeks ago. At this point, DS has no required actions.
 
We don't know which nomination they will use. DS has a nomination from MOC as well as NJROTC. We hope an appointment will come soon.

Wow congrats! He will get an Appointment soon;) I find it interesting LOA is coming out on a Sunday, guess my son should check his portal (right after the Eagles win of course).

DS just checked his portal today for the first time in two weeks. So, we don't know the exact day the LOA was given.
 
Congrats...its a pretty spectacular adventure!
 
Congratulations!! Just curious if you can receive a LOA without your CFA being complete?
