Any news?

I know of one girl who received an appointment on a presidential nomination three days ago (don’t know her personally, connection through a teacher), so they’re starting to come out. Nothing on my end, however.

HS Senior in our HS I believe appointed to USNA under Pres Nom. Our Congressman & one Senator only notified Noms on their slate just before Christmas. Don’t expect appointments then until mid- Feb I’m guessing.
 
My FFR told me that they will start coming out in bunches mid-January.

*[EDIT] She told me that those with LOAs completed files, noms, etc. will get appointments mid-January

DD got a letter, via portal today indicating the admissions committee has qualified her file and appointments would be sent out at the end of February.
 
Last year appointments started coming in bunches right after the AOG's got theirs which was early Feb, delayed bit because of repeated snow storms at W.P. causing delays.. Now more than ever patience is needed, it is still a long road to the end of the process. Don't give up your last semester of High School stressing over this every day. Enjoy all the activities you have earned through years of hard work. And hopefully one day when you least expect it you will arrive home to find a BFE waiting for you..
 
I recently received my nomination, almost done with my DoDMERB (most likely qualified). I just need to pass my CFA and I'm good to go. I'm from Guam by the way so my process might be a little different from normal states. Correct me if I'm wrong hmm.
 
My son received email from our Senator that he was appointed to West Point, they said the letter is going out tomorrow, can’t wait for the envelope! Not a recruited athlete and not a military family, he’s just an amazing young man!
