Hi,

I found a discussion from 2008 talking about Mr. Larry Mullen.
Does anyone know if he still answers questions?
I didn't want to just email him not knowing if he still works in DODMERB because I emailed a lady that the DODMERB website showed me, and she was not very happy that I was emailing her when she stopped working for DODMERB.
Thank you in advance to any responses:)

He did as of September 2017. He came to Rutgers NJ to speak about DODMERB at a service academy forum that our 2 state senators were hosting at that time

Caution....if you are in ROTC or an ROTC battalion is currently assisting you with DoDMERB, do NOT contact Mr. Mullen without checking with your cadre first. That is a big no no.

Oh, I just had some questions regarding my remedial and waiver for USNA. Thank you for the caution, though.

My son emailed him at the start of his waiver request.

What a fantastic man. He answered promptly and did a fantastic job.
I wasnt getting a reply from him and I just found out that I was using the wrong email. Do you by any chance know where your son got the email address?

Just curious if anyone has a current email address for Mr. Mullen? I think that I found one from a while ago but wanted to make sure the email went to the right place. Any help would be appreciated.

Mr. Mullen was a tremendous help when my son was applying for the SAs and during the waiver process. I still have his email if you need it.

While Mr. Mullen may still make himself available, he stopped posting here some years ago when DODMERB either started or enhanced their help line. He strongly urged folks to use it. Thus, I would certainly start there.

Just search his posts. He provides directions how to contact him. Also look for FAST sticky under DODMERB.

Correct. 😁
Traveled and worked all day today, signing off for the night
