Appointment flood this week?

Morning everyone,

So if last year's appointment thread is anything to go by, we can expect a massive release of appointments this week correct?

I'm curious because the wait is killing me.
 
I'm not sure comparing to prior years is accurate. In my Excel nerdness, I've been tracking last year to this year. SA was tracking ahead of prior year, then began tracking behind. Last year, last week had more than this week..

Eventually time runs out and appointments have to be made. I do suspect this should be a big week. However, only those in Admissions know. They wore me down, not trying to out guess Admissions any more.

I do agree with you this is extremely stressful. I think it's so stressful because their is no one set admissions release date like other colleges. You don't know when it's coming so as a parent you think about it more often.

I think what adds further confusion to the mix is that there are a number of folks that have an appointment in hand but are holding off on accepting to see if they get a second choice. Once a decision is made, this will release a few additional appointments. Unfortunately, this will have some waiting until the last minute for an opportunity!! Only time will tell.

I got a phone call from a number similar to my congressman's that I didn't recognize, and I was so freaking excited... Turned out it was a scam caller and just completely wasted my time :(

Not yet, he said he was in class when a number flashed on his phone. We had been joking, that if a number with our area code and the next 3 digits that also correspond to MOC's field office show up, answer it. He said he recognized those 3 digits and walked out of class. He said, he didn't care of the class penalty, he was not going to miss that call. MOC staff said USAFA would contact him will further information. I'm waiting for portal to update to consider it official and post to thread.
