Congratulations to all the appointees so far! Just wanted to send a shout out to those who are in the Waiting Club with us! After years of watching my son pursue his dream, it's hard to believe that it's coming down to the last days before hearing a decision. As a mom, I feel like I'm in the air between two trapezes. But we know that no matter the outcome, he has done his very best and that it’s all in God’s hands. More than any of his accomplishments, I am so proud to see the man he is becoming. And I know the other parents feel the same way about you, their sons and daughters. You have bright futures ahead of you, wherever you land!

Thank you all for sharing your journeys, your wisdom, and your encouragement over the years. We’re trying not to obsess about how many offers are still left. As I keep reminding him: you only need ONE!
 
Do you guys think they'll start offering to people off the national waiting list this week?

No official wait list, just this informal "club" to bring levity to a stressful time.

It's possible they've already started...no one except admissions knows for sure. It seems there's a significant number of offers still to come, so we're hoping this is the week!

Very well said. Either way,I will still be a proud mom of a DS.. I believe character, integrity, work ethics, and a heart for sacrificial service wins no matter what situation you are in. I know without a doubt that Everyone has the ability to make a difference if they choose too. Win or lose, accepted or not it is not a failure. It is an opportunity to show true Character and Strength. Love is unconditional, not merit based and we will be proud of our kiddos no matter where God leads them.
 
I am new to the forum. Glad this is here to reassure me that we are not the only ones still waiting to hear back. Congrats to all who have received their appointments.
Not giving up hope.

From what I have read, it's more like a "next in line" kind of process. Whoever is next to receive the appointment will replace someone that declined their offer.
 
The waiting is painful I know. Appointments will come up to June (IDAY). Sometimes even after someone gets a TWE (notice in portal) stay positive and never give up hope. Am sure news will come soon for many.

Truth here...

I have seen a candidate receive the "you're amazing, awesome, just perfect....BUT..." letter.

And a couple weeks later they were offered an appointment.

Yes, they took it and graduated several years ago!

That’s exactly what happened to my brother in law! Keep the faith, everyone!! Praying for y’all for patience and peace!!
 
Sigh! Took my kids snowboarding in the Rockies for a month and included a visit to USAFA. Thought we would've heard by now, but DS didn't make the first round of MOC appointments, so still waiting.

same for DS, his stats are good but no nomination, still showing Candidate status. At this point if no nomination, is it just TWE that could happen? He only applied to Congressional nomination and did not get it.
