My DS is still CPR. He has an appointment to USMMA and I was deadset that a TWE was imminent any hour.
He was set to wait until Tuesday to accept his USMMA appointment unless he heard something sooner from USNA.
I was fearful that he might accept his USMMA without knowing where exactly he stood with his USNA app.
For instance, what if he removed his USNA app Tuesday, but his MOC had just not yet notified him of an appointment?
I suggested he email his MOC Monday(the 15th) and let her know he was planning on removing himself from consideration for the USNA because he was accepting his USMMA appointment, and that if she had any information worthy of sharing, now would be an opportune time to do it.
Sounded like a good plan right?
Well, my DS thought it was such a good plan he did it today instead.
In any event, the MOC’s office said “let us call admissions and we’ll email you right back”.
This is the exact wording of the email...”(DS), you are in the running for USNA’s Prep school and should know by the end of next week wether or not you’ll be made an offer”.
So to all those on CPR at the end of today...there is still a glimmer of hope.
