Okay, where are they? I've been checking the website all day. There is now a link to preregister and prepay for parents' weekend events.

I have also been checking all day. Don't they know we all live for this all day. I told my son I am a stalker on the forums and I live on the parents page. He actually laughed out loud. His 1st company floor cell phones were not given back until today! They gave him few minutes. Made my day!
yes, I am still helicoptering--a mother's priviledge and from this distance not likely to harm anyone. Helicopter on!I know .. this will be a tough transition.

They will be balancing TONS of stuff.
Think of it this way, the more he spends time emailing family (and friends), the more he puts himself at a potential disadvantage to completing the impossible load of things being thrown at him.
Sooo, those few words in an email... are GOLD.
Tell me what you need me to send, and if you are ok. Apart from that, no news is good (ish) news.
At one point, having no news at all, I weekly sent the last stuff he'd requested.... until I got an email saying "Dad. Stop.Stop. I have enough cleaning supplies. I've shared with everyone.. I don't need any more"
I was bound and determined to hear from him... somehow . hahhhaa.

Your Plebe Candidate will be issued his/her own email address. Once they get their computers set up and registered, they will be able to email home.
Format of email address:
I think it's their legal name, as filled out on their application. For example, the fictious Plebe Candidate Robertinius Theodore Smith III, nicknamed 'Trey', of the class of 2013 will forever be know in email as:
Robertinius.Smith.2013@usmma.edu.
Professors will ask, "Is Robertinius present?"
So, for kids that go my their nicknames or middle names, you're outta luck.

I received e-mails back from DS today. And had a very nice IM discussion with him. The world seems back on track today! After today I expect the opportunities to communicate will be less, but today was great!
He asked that we be careful who we give his e-mail address to and asked for short e-mail and no junk mail. I'm also warning relatives that he may not be able to respond very often.
