ANyone know what time they have to be back on Sunday?

I would think that plebe liberty would end at 1800 hrs. on sunday of parent's weekend.

Thank you.....just trying to plan my flight back to Fl to spend the most time with him....appreciate it!

Liberty

So are you saying they are let go after muster after football games and don't have to be back until 6:00pm sunday?

No

Liberty on sat. is 30 min after FB game ends until adm worley decides it ends on sat nite. Sun should be when they say until 1800 hr. I think

These responses are based on events of the past few years. Remember, there's a new Superintendent and that may mean a change. And it looks like Band Co. may have a Sunday morning commitment which will impact their liberty. I sincerely hope that they get an extension in the afternoon/evening to make up for that.

That said, don't book an early flight if you can avoid it. They won't want to go back any earlier than they absolutely have to. In recent years liberty for the regiment has been extended, with plebes reporting at 8 or 9 p.m. Don't count on that, but be prepared. We had to leave Sunday afternoon and regretted it. But our daughter was able to spend Sunday at a roommate's house.

It was my understanding that they get liberty from after the football until 1800 on SUnday and do not have to come back Saturday night- based on previous years. I thought someone had written that in some previous years, they have been gratnted liberty until Monday but perhaps that was only when Parents weekend fell over Labor Day weekend?

BANDS SUNDAY MORNING COMMITTMENT (Sept 13th)

My understanding is that Band is playing in Battery park in Manhatten Sunday Morning. I don't know what time. Would like to find out more info on this pertaining to Saturday night and early Sunday morning...playing it safe and staying till Monday. Any info would be greatly appreciated...thanks

Do they stay overnight Sat or have to be back Saturday nite? Anyone really know?

Anyone really know?

No.....that's the bottom line......be flexible....be adaptable....be happy.....take it as it comes........................................................in other words, be everything we are asking our sons and daughters to be!

I'd like to find out more as well - I know it's a performance with a Dutch band and that the Prince of Orange and his wife are scheduled to attend. The regimental calendar lists the Band as out between 0700 and 1400.

Band schedule

The Band concert in Manhattan Sunday, Sept. 13 gives a time of 0700-1400 and our son wants us to go. We will have to find out more details but plan on staying in the city that day for the event. Sounds big since the crown prince of Holland and the President is going to attend according to my pc! :thumb:

Sorry i told you up front I don't do flexible:bang:

Tough one for us too....being over a thousand miles away and wanting to make plans to spend money, we don't really have, on something that may or may not happen! ............ This might just be the fun part, of the roller coaster, everyone has told us about.

Another crafty project!

Yeah it is a good idea, somewhere a parent indicated we might have a place and time to meet. Would be good but who know when we will be available...oops let some of that "flexibility sneak out":yllol:
