okay well im just about to start my senior year in high school and have all the parts of my AROTC application complete, however I have a hypothetical question. Lets say my application sits through both the September and October boards and does not get selected. However, i retake my SATS in October and do alot better and send in my new scores. Would this increase my chances of getting picked on the November board?

I'm going to guess "Yes". These are great questions to ask a scholarship officer or the PMS during your interview. the last date to send info is Feb 28, so you have many opportunities to go before the board. Keep updating your file with improvements! You'll do fine. Also, make sure that one of your schools listed is a sure bet.

My understanding is that any updates have to be received by Cadet Command approximately 2 weeks before the board date to be considered. Plus you have to add time for the results to be sent to Cadet Command. Could be close.

thanks, this makes me feel alot better about my odds knowing that I have more than one shot and im not "one and done"
