how much consideration does the academy take in your police record? is it enough to break you? just wondering

Too vague to answer accurately.

A police "record" in and of itself will not doom a candidate for any SA. HOWEVER...the "what/why" is going to be looked at VERY VERY closely.

A 12 yr old that was tagged with 4 of his buddies for swiping a bag of Doritos from 7-11 will most likely get a pass.

The 16 yr old that was arrested while "tagging" buildings in his city with his gang...what do you think?

Just my opinion thought; the SA would make the call.

It depends on the severity of the crime as well as how long ago it was committed.

need for speed

what about traffic tickets? Like 3 in less than a year--1 in Oct 08, 1 in March, and 1 in Aug.

How about slowing down? I doubt it will auto-eliminate anybody. It IS a flag, but not anything that other avarage teenagers display at this age. The only thing is, you should be striving to be above average...

Yes sir you are so right. I did work this summer at our county jail and received a security clearance. Kind of a creepy job though--misery abounds
