DS has registered for the 19 March session.

We have decided to stay at the Mystic Marriot instead of Spring Hill Suites as the Parents Dinner will be at the Marriot per the agenda. Our previos 3 visits we stayed at Spring Hill due to the fact that it is spitting distance to the gate.

Starting a thread for parents to meet and greet prior to their respective AEP Visits.

Hope to meet and greet many of you! Are you attending? If so which session?

Go Bears!

Attending April 7-8 session but haven't made hotel reservations yet. We are looking forward to meeting the professors and digging into the academic program a bit more. Our DS would really like to meet up with current Civil Engineering cadets. He reached out to his AO but was just referred to the cadet blogs which are not updated and do not include a Civil Engineering student.

As parents we where wondering if it was going to be a necessary trip since DS is committed and he has been 3x already but seeing the agenda and DS wanting to go- we green-lighted it.

Should be yet another great visit to CGA! His last 2 visits he was paired with Football. Looking forward to an Academic Centered visit and learning about the Gov Major!

My DD signed up for the 23-24 April session. Where can the agenda be found?

If your DD clicks on the hotlink within the invitation e-mail, it opens a web page for AEP. On that page there is a button for the agenda which opens a .pdf

Thanks for the information. FYI, the invitation was sent to DD's spam. We could not open the link for some reason so if someone can post the agenda, that would be very much appreciated.

Go call on the Spam! Be sure to have you DS/DD add all CGA e-mail to the Safe Senders or Contacts list.

If it's still in the spam folder it won't let you open the link. Mark the email as not spam and then it should let you open the link.

Thank you. Still can't open the agenda even though it's out of spam.
I’m also having a hard time opening the agenda. The link from the email opened and took me to the USCGA website AEP page, but once I click “AEP Schedule” the page won’t load.

We had this problem as well but it did eventually open. I am in IT but cannot tell you why it eventually opened. It did open as a new .pdf tab in Firefox however. Let me see if I can copy and paste it for you all.

I recommend looking up a Civil Engineering faculty member on uscga.edu and request to meet some cadets.

My DD decided to go March 19 as well. Her major: Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering. We live in OH so we will be booking travel plans.
