Hello. I am going to be a senior in high school this year, and am really worried about my medical status and CFA, which are the only segments of the application process I am really worried about.

1. I took the physical and eye exams almost immediately after SLS this summer, but have gotten no email or mail from DODMERB or USMA. All I received was a DODMERB mail regarding "special instructions" (still unclear about what this is) from USAFA, but still nothing from USMA. Can anyone tell me whats going on?

2. I have tons of questions that cannot be answered by the USMA FAQs, and I dare not ask it all on here, and so I am looking for my admissions officer...but I can't find him/her! There is absolutely no link, no information whatsoever that I can find on the website that pertains to admissions officers. I have been contacted by both USNA and USAFA admissions officers by phone, but nothing from USMA. Where can I find my admissions officer?

3. Does USMA conduct interviews, like USNA and USAFA do?

Thanks a bunch

First, take a look at this sticky over on the DoDMERB forum on this site:
http://www.serviceacademyforums.com/showthread.php?t=3097

Send an email to Larry Mullen (Larry.Mullen@dodmerb.tma.osd.mil) with your full name and the last 4 digits of your SSN. State your DoDMERB questions and you WILL get an answer.

Second, send an email to: admissions@usma.edu or call the admissions office at (845) 938-4041. They will put you in touch with the specific admissions officer for your area.

Thanks aprouddad for the reply! I just emailed Mr. Mullen and am awaiting a reply. I also called West Point admissions but my officer (Great Lakes Region admissions officer) is unavailable until August 31 :frown:. Thanks again!

Thanks America's Finest  I just didn't want to feel like a burden to the forums by firing too many questions on here that could be easily answered by an admissions officer.

Hey i had the same problem hearing from DODMERB. i took the exams and then after about a month of hearing nothing (i was expecting to get disqualified so i was confused but kind of hopefull that they decided not to reasons), i ended up logging onto the DODMERB website, not the DODMETS one. I opened a file there and it turned out i was already in the system and disqualified, the letter just hadn't gotten here. I got an email too from my admissions officer saying the same thing.
So id say, log onto the DODMERB eitherway
