So I know that PA is very competitive for Senatorial noms. I have both PA Senatorial noms to USNA, with one being a Principal from Senator Pat Toomey (PA). I also have a nomination from Senator Bob Casey (PA) to USNA, as well as my Congressional district nom. Additionally, I have a NJROTC nomination. My Congresswoman and Senator Bob Casey did not do principal noms. How often is it that someone has 4 nominations, yet doesn’t get appointed?
Wow! 4 noms - way to go !! Which district are you in with a Congresswoman ( if you don’t mind me asking ) I know there’s only three or four congress women I’m PA and the one in our district is a congresswoman so I’m wondering if we’re from the same area 😊.
I can’t imagine you not getting in with four nominations unless you’re not medically qualified. it seems that your nomination base would include your resume (of sorts ) which must be stellar!

Has anyone heard from any Pennsylvania congressman or congresswoman -and if so -do you also Know if they communicate with senators (I know the senators usually collaborate together to avoid duplicating noms - but do they do so with a Congressmen/women as well?) DS has PA senators nom & presidential nom, but has been in CPR since October & is hoping if he gets Congress it may jolt his application awake? The waiting is exhausting & mentally taxing 😆

My DS has heard from PA MOC and both Sen Toomey and Sen Casey. Nom from MOC and Sen Casey. A TWE was received from Sen Toomey. In the letter, he describes that they "coordinate with other nomination sources" which I took to indicate both MOC and Sen Casey. My MOC office also said they coordinate with both Senators. This my DS's 2nd year applying to USAFA, agree wholeheartedly with the wait being exhausting. Hang in there.

Same situation in my district. Senators coordinate together and with MOC (1 possible nom to 1 service academy). In other districts that coordinate, a candidate can receive one senator and their MOC. In those fortunate enough to have no coordination, all 3 are possible!

Phew- I was holding my breath for your district answer 😊- we are 05- I will have my son jump on this forum & PM you ( we are probably just 20 miles apart ) he’s out now to watch the Clemson 🏈 college championship game - but I will get him later tonight!

Anyone hear anything from AZ 02. I have a student with a USMA nom and she was told there were not many that wanted USMA from her district.

Our son received USMA nom from AZ 02 16th Dec. He was told the same, which is odd considering proximity to Ft. Huachuca.
