Long story short, I had received a nomination from my representative however, I just received a letter from one of my senators saying that if my representative had NOT nominated me, he would have nominated me. Is this letter something I should make aware to the academy and does it even look good? I guess I also want to know if I can receive 2 nominations considering the fact that, from his letter it seems that they communicate and the senator will now nominate someone else because I already have a nomination. If this isn't really clear please let me know since I want to know. Thanks.

I know for a fact that you can have more than one nomination despite the way your representative and senator communicated. I don't entirely know if you should make it aware to the academy, but you can always contact your counselor and/or liaison officer if you want a definitive answer or have more questions.

It’s not a partial nomination. It is no nomination from the senator and one nomination from the representative. You have one nomination. Congressmen are allowed to discuss and spread the nominations as they see fit.
The Academy knows which nominations that you received. There is no need to tell them.
