Hey guys,
I'm planning on applying to USMA. Right now I'm a junior and I have already talked to my regional admissions rep. I'm meeting the local parents' club members tomorrow night.
I have a 4.75 weighted GPA, 6 out of 170 class rank, and I'm taking three AP courses as a junior.
I do model un, key club, spanish honor society, leadership board for a diversity youth program (11 selected out of 2500 for leadership board), selected as one of two male "Who's Who" sophomore year (faculty selects Who's Who), played baseball all three years so far for high school, football one year. Yes I plan on applying to SLS once I am able to.
A question: During middle school, I had mild psoriasis on my hands. It is a skin disease that causes dry skin and peeling. It was always very mild and never spread anywhere besides my hands, and has been gone for three years now. In the admissions catalog, it says that a verified history of psoriasis is a disqualification.
Will this be a problem for me when going through DODMERB?
Thanks in advance for the help! I have looked at this forum for about three months now, but this is my first post.
