Good afternoon , just wanted advise and to double check information.
Started my Re-enlisting process. Went to MEPS for asvab, All great across the board.
At MEPS an staff mentioned as to why I wasn’t going officer with since I had my bachelors and the scores were fine.
I gave it more thought and asked the recruiter for more info.
Recruiter stated he would not start the packet for the following reasons, I’d just like to know if they are valid and if so I’ll continue the process. He stated I would need too many waivers and so he didn’t want to spend the time for the event I get denied.

I need 3 waivers:
First RE-3 already approved. Not physical or mental related just an idiot teenager decision.
Visual, minimum is -3.00 for eyes and my eyes are -3.10 which are barely below the line. Approved.

I am 31 in peak physical condition, but I would need a waiver as the process would be 3/4 of the way done while the process is finishing and would needthat as a last waiver.

Thoughts, suggestions,etc.

Thank you for your time guys and gals.

What branch?

Find another recruiter.

Army
My good sir
Same advice-- find another recruiter. Some are willing to push things through to completion. Some aren't.

I'm not familiar with the Army OCS requirements, but USAF's current waiverless age cutoff is 39. Might be another route to explore.

Good luck.
