My son received his AROTC 4 year scholarship offer in the mail today:biggrin:

Lucky you, now the waiting is over! Where will he be going to school with his scholarship?
 
Thanks all. Now comes the hard part of him deciding. Either Clemson, USC, Mercer, Embry Riddle or FIT for engineering.
 
Question for you, if you dont mind?

Did your son's package include instruction for DODMerb ?

Thanks for any info you can share. We are also expecting a letter, but the mail must be a little slower to South Florida :smile:

If it is similar for the SA, you will receive a letter from Dodmerb in the mail with all the instructions. If will have you set up the account on line and schedule your appointments. You have 5 days from receipt of the letter to make your eye and doctor appointments. Then you'll have 30 days to finish the appointments. You'll have to schedule the eye exam prior to the doctor. They will give you the name of both doctors. Depending on where you are in South Florida is where you go. Both were about 45 minutes to an hour away from our home and they were our only choices.

ROTCDaD - The letter says you will receive instructions in the mail from DODMerb on scheduling exams. If you haven't heard from them in 90 days contact them. Hope this helps. Where in S. Florida are you? We lived down there for 6 years.

My daughter also received her notification of Army ROTC 4 year complete scholarship yesterday.
She has also qualified for her DodMerb too :)

Wishing everyone good luck in receiving theirs too :)
