Smacking Army and getting the 6th win of the season means bowl eligibility...congratulations! We hope its the Emerald Bowl in SF. By the way, congrats to Navy for beating Notre Dame today.

Yeah congrats!

I just looked at your profile pic and my jaw dropped. My desktop picture is of Gromit. I love that show.

Yes, it was a good game. We won; became bowl eligible; and was able to spend the day with our army brothers and sisters. Sounds corny, but isn't meant to be. We had a lot of Army cadets visit us at Thudgate. It was great. They had a lot to eat and drink, and we got a chance to thank them for their commitment, just like we thank all the air force cadets who visit us. And it was really nice to see air force and army cadets standing side by side. And the visiting cadets have a sharing bond among all cadets. The visiting army cadets spent the night in our air force cadet's rooms. My son had an army cadet in a sleeping bag in his room. It was indeed a great day at the game, and at Thudgate.

And it was also great to see many of you again. And some for the first time. I actually got to meet Steve (Flieger) for the very first time. What a fantastic officer and a gentleman. If any of you Arizona applicants have a chance to meet Steve, it would definitely be a privilege. And it was definitely my privilege to meet him.

So, we have 1 more home game left, then we're going bowling. I'll post later in the week about next Saturday. It's against UNLV, and I hope to see many more of you there. Later..... Mike......

I'll definitely second what Mike said here!! The game was FUN, and THUDGATE...okay, ATTENTION IN THE AREA, ATTENTION IN THE AREA...if you're at the game next Saturday, GO ON DOWN to Thudgate!!!

What a great group of folks there are there!! It's a fun, lively, totally welcoming place!!

And it was GREAT to finally get a chance to meet Mike and share some time! You all know he's very knowledgeable on all things military...but he's also one really neat gent too!!! It was great to visit with him and just "hang out!"

Head on down there...I'll be doing it again next season for certain!!!

Oh, and Arizona applicants...if you're interviewing at Congressman Flake's next Saturday...

You WILL get a chance to meet me!

Well, since it doesn't look like I'm going to make it to Thudgate, you are all cordially invited to my house for the Super Bowl 2010 party when the Steelers play! :thumb:
