How long does it take to know if you get in after you complete your Application?

I have 3 nominations to USAFA and I finished my application today except my Liaison Officer Interview that I cannot schedule (has to be done by the academy my ALO said) and my DODMeds (couldn’t be completed until my application was sent). I was wondering what time frame should I be looking at to potential get a call to know if I was accepted?

Most offers of appointment are made February - Mid-March. Admissions will not review your file until you have your Evaluator ALO interview complete. They will review it without DoDMERB but make sure you are getting that taken care of ASAP.

You may or may not get a "call". That will depend on your MOC and whether they call their appointees. USAFA will notify your MOC 7 days prior to updating your portal. If your MOC doesn't call, you will get an email saying your portal has been updated when a decision is made one way or the other.

If I received my nom in my portal last Saturday (1/9), have had my application 100% complete (including DoDMERB) since November and haven't heard anything from my MOC regarding their nom, is it possible I'll receive a decision from USAFA itself this weekend? Or is it likely admissions will take more time? I understand that this is a bit of a loaded question and if you can't answer it I completely understand. Thanks in advance.

I think it really depends because I received my one and only moc nom officially on Dec. 19 and I got the appointment call from the congresswomen just Wednesday, Jan 13th. So maybe wait a couple of weeks but then again this can vary.

Current 2 degree here. Received nomination in December 2016, heard nothing until May 2017. Relax and don’t think about it too much.

Not Iikely. Even if you got the nom there are 9 others on the slate you'll be evaluated against. I believe they have until Jan 31 to complete their applications. You are far more likely to hear in Feb or even March

Do you know if USAFA will make a DoDMERB conditional offer of appointment? I'm curious because I've had my application done for about a month and a half and a nomination for a month. I am still working on my DoDMERB (AMI). Have you ever heard of USAFA making said conditional appointment?

Understood, thank you.

Got it, thanks and congratulations to you!
