Hello, I recently received an AROTC scholarship and requested my medical records for detailed information on an emergency room visit and past surgery. Within my medical record is an "active problem list" listing hypertension as an active problem. This is the result of a past physical where my blood pressure measured at 150/90. Obviously, this is very high and is medically disqualifying, but I don't believe this is currently an issue as I have a home blood pressure meter and continually measure at around 125/75. I plan on making an appointment to have my blood pressure measured just so that it is in my record, but my question is: how much of an issue will this be assuming my blood pressure is normal at my DoDMERB physical? Thank you.
