Is their a list of non-major related required classes 1st yr. cadets take?
 
I'm assuming you're a cadet, being your name is 2012cadet. Go online (Internal intra-net) and look at CAMIS (Spelling). It lists all the Mandatory classes. mike....
 
I believe I've seen one before, but I can't remember where....

But I do know 2012Cadet is so named because he hopes to be a new cadet in the summer of 2012. :]

Yes, there are several required classes that you have to take at the Academy. Most I believe are in your first year. Even if your major in some non-technical field that they offer, you still have to take certain classes because everyone that graduated from the Academy graduates with a B.S. of science. Just download the Academy catalogue off www.academyadmissions.com and look in the academics section you find the list there. Hope this helps.
 
Everyone has to take up to Calc II, Comp Sci, English, Physics, Chemistry, a foreign language, world history, behavioral science, intro to AF engineering, and some other stuff I can't think of.
 
90-some credit hours of core courses...
Over half your classes will be core.
