Does anyone know how the corps is organized when they march on tomorrow? not expecting to spot my plebe but at least i can see if his company does well. my understanding is that the Middies are not quite as skilled at marching as the Cadets.

Facing the formation.

H4-D4-H3-D3-H2-D2-H1-D1
G4-C4-G3-C3-G2-C2-G1-C1
F4-B4-F3-B3-F2-B2-F1-B1
E4-A4-E3-A3-E2-A2-E1-A1

They will also be marching in by order of company so A1, B1, C1...H1. Then A2, B2, C2...H2. Etc. If you know his company just do the math and count the companies going in or use that diagram.

There will also be ROTC cadets marching in with us. Don't ask me why, nobody knows.

Not on TV?

I have seen commercials showing the start of the march on, so I am hoping they show it. Especially to see the Navy guys stumbling around in circles-just kidding!

The march on occurs HOURS prior to the game. Army marches on at 11:45 am and Navy marches on at 12:15 pm. Kickoff is 2:30 pm.

CBS coverages begins at 2:30 and will not televise the march on. The will televise clips of the march on during the game.
After the game check you tube. Folks who go will video the march on and post it there.

pedro - you are right about Navy. The difference is quite remarkable.
Last year I sat with friends (Army) who had never been and Navy marched on first. My friend's husband gushed over Navy when they marched on first. I told him to wait for Army - when Army marched on he was speechless.

What company are you AF?

BTW, the Prepsters are not marching and will be in the stands much to my DS dismay lol He had his heart set on doing push ups in the end zone...

Go Army Cake! (Beat 'em!)

P.S. Do they still serve Go Army Cake? If not I hate to say it but the Corps has!

Strange they are letting ROTC cadets march in before prepsters. He may still be able to go down there and push if he really wants to.

I have no clue but they did give us "Go Army, Beat Navy" chocolate bars. :shake:

Crazy Navy, not focused on Marching! What are they THINKING?
As all of West Point is saying right now...
Maybe next year!

Actually, I think it is all in good fun.......much like the various 'Spirit Videos' that are created where Army & Navy poke fun at each other. I like to remember one of the lines from yesterday's TV announcer who said they are only enemies for the afternoon and then they are both part of the same team.

My son just heard from the Navy grad he's supposed to meet up with during Christmas (Marine aviator). He emailed my son about possible times and gave him his background and what he was currently doing and concluded with:

"I have been told that your parents are USMA grads. Maybe next year they will beat us...."

Yeah, I flipped off the email!

But you're probably right!!
