1 pull up is better but I can say from firsthand knowledge that I know of someone who received an appointment with a FAH.I know one pull up is better than the max on FAH. But I would just like to know if there has been anyone who has gotten an appointment with a FAH.
Any high school student or USNA mid who has an inkling that they might want to go Marine Corps should get cracking on pull-ups. There’s MARSOT and Leatherneck and then TBS and active duty — all places where the ability to do pull-ups matters. A lot.However he did say that the O-Course has a obstacles where being able to to do a pullup is needed. Also pullups are still part of many of screeners like MARSOT.

Yessss!I actually couldn't do pullups a few months ago, but now I can do almost 4. It definitely takes practice and patience. I did a lot of negatives, over and over and over again. I suggest not using bands, just go for it. Watch videos on proper form, takes videos of yourself, you got this! PM me if you need any help!
