First off, happy holidays to everyone! Hey everyone I just recently had my interview for an AFROTC Scholarship on December 15th and I am REALLY anxious to know my chances of getting a scholarship. I'm pretty sure there are many people on this forum that feel the same way :yllol:. Thanks in advance for any answers and have a happy and safe holiday!

Academics:
GPA: 3.50(unweighted); 3.61(weighted)

Ranks: 26 out of 306

SAT: 1600

Note: have taken 4 AP classes

Activities
AJROTC (2yrs): currently the S-5 and JAG. I'm also in the class period that is the leadership period if that makes an difference.

Church (10yrs+): Active leader of children services and teen services

Football (1yr)

Track and Field (2yr)

Other
I am pursing either computer, electrical, or mechanical engineering.

I think your academics (GPA & SAT) are a little weak. Look at the attached link for SAT & GPA averages. Hopefully your PT, leadership and interview scores will be high enough to offset those.

Are you sure you want to pursue a career in engineering? Most of the engineering students I've seen have fairly high math SAT scores. Not to say that you can't be successful in engineering but it does require a lot of "high" level math. Certainly the Air Force likes engineers, but you also need to be able to graduate with a degree.

Good Luck!
