Anyone have knowledge of when Class of 2026 I-Day info goes out? I found the '2021 I-Day parent & info booklet' and it looked like it was Tuesday 6/29 & Wed 6/30 last year? The USNA Academic Term 230 (Summer 2022 ) Calendar shows I-Day as Thursday June 30, 2022 this year. Wondering if it will be moved to a 2 day again, not sure when that was decided last yr. Not a big deal, but DS has a very small window after HS graduation and we were attempting to plan one last family gathering and also travel plans to USNA for I Day.

I can not comment as to when the final version will be released but I can say last years plan for Plebe summer I-day was very fluid. Semper Gumby I-day was right on the edge of many COVID restriction changes. No masks at all which was great!

It will come out when it is settled. Even if somone here advised, they arent primary source, and it’s a guess. Typically thus far, it’s followed the same timeframe. But, you’ll have to wait for UNSA to release their specific Iday schedule for you.

Congrats!!🎉

That calendar is still tentative…in red across the top.

Even once it’s finalized, actual REPORTING may be different than ‘Iday’. Perhaps some ROM days? Idk. But each applicant will receive specific information.

Thanks! Appreciate the feedback/info. It's funny, you get so excited and DS spent so much time and effort on process of getting the appointment, and now there's a bit of sadness knowing that after HS graduation there is a small window of time to spend together.

I am going to piggyback what most others have said and tell you that the information will come out but you just have to be patient. My son was inducted last year and we waited for some time before things were finalized. I think final details cane about 4-6 weeks before report date. Everything was very fluid. If I can give one piece of advice now, it would be this- The military and their needs will come first. In most cases you'll have to wait until you get their instructions and then you plan your life :)

There are kiddos that actually have to miss their graduation…

My advice? Be present in his here and now. Celebrate his senior year. Cherish your moments. There is nothing you can do to lessen the sadness that you will feel, leaving him behind at Alumni Hall.

Congrats again. And welcome to the Navy Family ♥️⚓💙

Just so y’all don’t think I’m loosing my marbles…someone had posted the summer USNA calendar. I was responding to that. It’s gone now.

Strap in for the ride on the roller coaster! It’s a blast and this is coming from a Plebe dad. We have a lot more to ride….

Class of ‘25 I day was spread over three days. Plebes were assigned reporting times and parents did a drop off. On final day of drop offs the parents and family were invited back in evening for the Induction ceremony and one last goodbye. It was not until June 7 DS received permit to report on June 30.

However you should book hotel rooms early around the tentative day. Be sure you can cancel as needed.
