How is the PFA scored? I wasn't so sure

so I just did as killed myself lol.

64 Situps
82 Pushups
10:35 1.5 Mile Run

Very Good scores.
I got a AFROTC scholarship and my scores were just about the same.

But then again this is just a small portion compared to the entire package. Keep up the good work, and hopr you get what you want.

Do you mean the PFA that you take in AFROTC? Or the one you take when applying for a scholarship? I can't remember if they're the same. But in AFROTC, the PFA consists of 1-minute of pushups, 1-minute of situps, a 1.5 mile run and a waist measurement. Run = 50% of score, Waist = 30% and situps and pushups are each 10%.

When applying for the scholarship. Like whats a "good score" really? They don't release very many numbers.

Those are Air Force Academy potential mid-range scores. So for ROTC, they are QUIET good. Mine were a lot lower than that, and I received a Type 7. Remember though, you need to be 3Q'd to qualify! I would know: Right now, I'm so confused about my medical status, that I'm sending good old Mr. Mullen a very large email :)

How are these?

I took my AFROTC PFA today (after a swim practice where we did sprints and a lactate set, so they definitely weren't my best )

Pushups:66
Sit Ups: 31
1.5 Mile Run: 10:57

I dont think the PT scores are a huge factor in being awarded a scholarship. Obviously, you need to demonstrate that you can pass the PFA in ROTC and contract. But any more than that, I cant see it being as big a factor as grades, test scores, extra curriculars, etc.
