I’m fond of several of their items. I enjoy 5 spice on my fresh apple slices 🍎

Okay, the Bones Coffee company has some seriously yummy-sounding flavors.

And I can also attest to Penzey's. I love their Cumin, and the Northwoods is a go-to for many things. I also like the surprise sample packets they send. I haven't figured out what to do with the Russian seasoning yet, maybe make Bacon Czarina?

Russian (do you mean the Tsardust?) - season a pork tenderloin (but watch the strength, with salt and some of the other items, a little goes a long way), bard with bacon*, roast on a bed of onions. Have some mango chutney or other zingy condiment on the table.

* Bolded to assuage the Dread Bacon Lord (DBL).

I’ve also marinated pork cutlets and slim pork chops with a little Tsardust. Just a bit different flavor profile.

Fresh cheese tortellini from my favorite Italian deli in Annapolis, homemade pesto with a touch of cream (pesto alla panna), and a sprinkle of warm Wright’s bacon over the top (to remind me of the pancetta we’d get in bella Napoli), and a side of fat slices of beefsteak tomatoes from the garden, with some pesto on those. I love summer.

That’s the one! I just picked up a tenderloin so it will be dusted with Tsardust and served with well crisped bacon and a wedge salad.

Okay, so Amazon sells it. But ultimately it's just crushed pork rinds. I can do that with a quick stop at Circle K!!!! And, imagine the possibilities of spicy versus not, and they are zero carb!!

I see chicken tenders, pork panko air fryer zucchini spears, pork panko topped casseroles, oh my.
 
We've been hanging down the Jersey Shore this week. We'll collect all the leftover fries from our boardwalk dinners so I can make poor-man's home fries in the morning.

I take my trusty carbon steel pan, crisp up some chopped bacon, and then throw in the fries right in the bacon fat to brown them up. I put the finished fries with bacon bits on a serving plate, and then wipe the pan clean with a paper towel. At that point I go crabbing with my younger son (no Mid son this year...) while my wife and daughter sit in the hot sun on the hot sweaty beach all day, getting sand in places where sand doesn't belong...

I'm grateful that I do no see my cardiologist until October...
 
Breakfast this morning.
4 slices Wright thick cut bacon
2 eggs over medium
"Crispy Crowns" (flat tater tots) from the air fryer
Cafe Bustelo Mexican espresso
Love it! My version, if I were so motivated this morning: three eggs, over easy, served atop crisp hash browns, with the bacon as is. Followed by a short Nespresso.

But for some reason, I’m not that motivated this morning. So will make do with a couple breakfast burritos from town. Today’s meat is bacon, I believe. ☺️
 
Joining the bacon club for breakfast, I had a leftover Chick Fil A strip (why I think I can ever eat 4 at 1 sitting, I don’t know) which I thinly sliced cold, piled on some warm Wright’s between 2 slices of warm buttered deli marble rye toast. And a bowl of fresh cherries.
