Hello, I am a recruited athlete and just got my LOA, however , I'm worried about my cfa numbers. Would these pass?

BB throw: 38 ft
flex arm hang- 15 sec
push up- 50 (max)
sit up- 50
shuttle run- 10.5
mile- 7:45

During DS application cycle, he sent his scores to his USMA admissions counselor via email and they instructed him to get his mile to 6:30. When he hit that mark, he had the proctor submit the scores formally.

Possibly you could reach out to ask, but you can also look at the ranges listed for the CFA and see if your metrics fall in line.

There are other posts that discuss the CFT scores in detail...you may wish to run a search for 'CFT' on this forum.

The number that stands out as a concern is the one tied to the flex arm hang.

Not sure you have done, but use the averages posted here on page 2 for a benchmark. Try to improve upon anything below average if you can, (and I know you can!!)

Try to get at least one pull up, it’s worth more points to do one than any time for flexed arm hang.

Here is a CFA calculator that will give you an idea:

I plugged your numbers in and according to the calculator (which is a close estimate but not perfect) these numbers are "at risk". Getting just one pull up is a game changer. I think your sit ups are also pretty low - getting a few more will help.

Good luck! You got this!

Since you still have time, make sure to keep on practicing to increase your numbers.

The BBall throw is all about technique. Once you figure out how to throw the ball properly, you can increase your distance to as much as an extra 10feet. (as long as you practice).

If you can't get a pullup, practice negatives. This will for sure help you increase the flexed-arm hang.

Your push-up score is amazing, but make sure that you did the correct form. USMA is very strict on hitting the 90 degree mark. Trust me, my roommates have told me that they had to resubmit their push-up videos at least three times. If you do it right the first time, then you're all set!

Sit-ups are a pacing exercise. Make sure to find a good rhythm and PRACTICE!!!! In my opinion, your sit-up count should be at least 75. This will put you above average for both the male and female standards.

Try to work on some more explosive workouts for the shuttle run. The shuttle run is kind of easy to improve if you learn the technique for it, but you have to make sure to practice (I hope you're seeing a recurring theme here).

Everything can be improved, but you have to make sure that you are sending the best scores that YOU can achieve. You never want to strive for the minimum.
