Daughter is currently a freshman (Midshipman 4th Class) and is in New Orleans for the Annual Tulane Mardi Gras Drill Meet. Thought everyone might be interested in seeing last years results of the same Drill Meet. Listed in order of overall finish.

My son is currently nearing the end of the long bus ride from the University of Minnesota to New Orleans drill meet. It's a whirlwind trip for his unit - 22 hours on the bus there, 27 hours in New Orleans, 22 hours on the bus home. Hope he gets some studying done on that bus ride!

Agree. Daughters plan for the trip was a lot of studying as well. Didn't tell her that I never noticed anyone doing much "Studying" in New Orleans! lol

Plus her bus ride was more like 14 hours.

Very Cool - thanks for posting! My son will be doing AROTC at Tulane.

I have yet to see the complete final results but did hear that Norwich was the repeat winner of the event.

News on Mardi Gras Winners

I found out today that Texas A&M Fish Drill Team actually won the meet. Something was not added up correctly. Has any of the other teams been notified about this.

I read this as well on a Texas A&M discussion board. There were errors in the original calculations, and, in the end, A&M came out on top by just 2/10ths of a point! Congratulations to Norwich for doing so well and almost pulling off the repeat win, but being an A&M grad myself I have to say...

GIG 'EM AGGIES!:thumb:

Tulane posted the 2009 results online last year but since they have not done so yet this year I am going to email them and see if it will be posted soon or might be available., Not arguing A&M did not win by any means but would like to see other results. Will post if I get a listing.
