In my college american history class, we were talking about Benedict Arnold and how he convined Washington to let him lead west point. well when the teacher asked us if we knew what west point was, someone instantly responded with "It's a very prestigious Naval Academy." -_-
 
lol You should put this in the "Funny SA Misconceptions" thread under "Off Topic." There are many other great ones in that thread, too.
 
Well at least they got academy and military related right. I've heard some really ridiculous things when in relation to service academies. :yllol:
 
he definitely wasnt trolling me because i dont know anyone personally in that class and there was no disagreement in the classroom, i just kept quiet lol.

LOL! I work at the VA. When explaining that the Naval Academy was, I told this co-worker that it was the "West Point" for the Navy. She still seemed confused! LOL

Go Navy, Beat Army! (Sorry, I couldn't resist!)
